Speaker - Marjorie Broadbent
Marjorie is a pastors wife of 34 years and the mother of four grown children. She had the privilege of home schooling her children and now is watching from afar as the Lord has sent them off to different parts of the world to serve Him.
She has taught ladies Bible studies for a number of years as well as organizing and teaching in different children’s ministries.
Marjorie is passionate about helping women know God. So often the issues women struggle with are because they have a wrong or low view of God.
She is thrilled to have the privilege of speaking on the subject of God’s character.
A note from Marjorie:
Ladies, we need to Behold Our God. We need to see His wonder and majesty, to be refreshed in Him and meditate on Him. C.H. Spurgeon once said,
"Would you lose your sorrow? Would you drown your cares? Then go, plunge yourself in the Godhead’s deepest sea; be lost in His immensity; and you shall come forth as from a couch of rest, refreshed and invigorated. I know nothing which can so comfort the soul; so calm the swelling billows of sorrow and grief; so speak peace to the winds of trial, as a devout musing upon the subject of the Godhead."
